As a former Polling Station Organizer, I have had the privilege of working closely with our grassroots members and executives. Through this experience, I have gained firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced at our polling stations, including mobilization, communication, voter education, election-day coordination, and the welfare of our hardworking grassroots activists. These experiences have shaped my understanding of what is needed to strengthen our structures and improve our electoral fortunes.
It is on this foundation of service and experience that I humbly seek your support as I contest for the position of Electoral Affairs Officer for the Ateiku Electoral Area.
The office of the Electoral Affairs Officer is a vital one. It serves as the link between the grassroots and the party’s electoral machinery. The Electoral Affairs Officer is responsible for coordinating electoral activities, maintaining accurate electoral data, assisting with voter registration exercises, organizing election-related training, mobilizing party agents, monitoring electoral developments, and ensuring that our party remains election-ready at all times.
Having served as a Polling Station Executive, I understand the realities on the ground and appreciate the concerns of our polling station executives and grassroots members. If given the opportunity to serve, I will work tirelessly to strengthen our electoral structures, improve communication, promote unity, support our polling station executives, and ensure that every voice at the grassroots level is heard and respected.
